HMO improves call center productivity by 60% through legacy Web enablement

Within a week, the HMO developed a web application encapsulating the business process of booking a new appointment, that was contained in 36 AS/400 screens. The new application features standard web widgets that were not part of the original AS/400 application: Calendar view, unified search, auto-complete, navigation menu, and bread crumb navigation. The new web interface also merged several AS/400 screens into a single web page, for faster, easier navigation. Many of these widgets are a standard part of the OpenWeb module.
